What?

CDwORLD is a pixel club/clique (whichever you prefer). Clubs and cliques involve creating pixel art, usually based on a theme or some parameters and sharing it with other members while collecting the pixel graphics that they make in return.

CDwORLD is focused on making pixel art of CDs which can feature fan art of existing albums, fictional albums, or cover art of a playlist you yourself curated. If you have visited the catalogue, you may have noticed that each CD comes with the favourite songs of the creator and maybe even a small note of the significance of the album to them. I would love for people to find new music and learn about each other's tastes through this little club.

Also, the remake of CDwORLD is a tribute to the Napster website as it was in 2001. It's almost the real deal, huh?

Who?

Who runs the CDwORLD clique? It's me, Finny of humanfinny.com. You can reach out to me via my email: cdworldclub@protonmail.com. You can also leave me a message in the chat.

Who can join the clique? Anyone! All you need to do is fill in the form found in the join tab and create some pixel albums that fit within the parameters indicated on the templates page. You can submit as many CDs as you want but please be patient with me about when I will be able to put them up on the site.

Rules

CDwORLD has no strict rules outside of these four guidelines:

1. Be respectful to all members.

2. Fit the parameters of the CD, which should be 90px by 80px.

3. Create the pixel art yourself. Making actual album art smaller is not accepted and the use of AI or stealing is prohibited.

4. You may display your collected CDs as you prefer (it is not necessary to include CD details but a link to the CD creator should be present).
