A few notes on some terminology used in my gallery:

WT - Working Title.

VN - Visual Novel.

CTH - Carry That Home (a project).

OTM - Outlive The Man (a project).

Fairyary.

I didn't follow a specific prompt list and instead tried to design some characters for a short-form comic about fairies.

Artfight.

I was a team Vampire member and got 6 attacks to match my record from last year.

Inktober.

I made my own prompt list for Motober 2023, a celebration of the 2012 animated show Motorcity.

Galleries.

When the year starts, my desire to work on projects and stories is born again.

My first time trying to participate in Fairyary is largely unsucsessful. I get a rare commission that I don't get paid for. It's not easy out here.

I spend most of the month reviving old projects and thinking about comics.

Shamelessly, I start a new project about a rock band. Can I ever have a thought that isn't a remix of like three other thoughts I've already had?

A failed Mermay. But we're used to those around these here parts.

I'm excited for my second Artfight and prepare some character sheets early.

August is very busy with working on a project that I want to turn into a comic. It's like a we-have-Avatar-at-home Avatar.

I got over-excited for Inktober again and started experimenting with prompts and styles too early. I really wanted to do Cringetober but I already made a Motorcity prompt list for our fan community so that's going to have to wait 'til next year.

Inktober! I made and participated in Motober but only got through seven prompts.

The mystery and cold dread of November put me in the mood for ghosts and spirits.

And so, 2023 came to an end. It was a pretty good year for art but I hope 2024 is even better.
